Direct-on-Line Air Break Motor Starters
Bentex-SKN Direct On Line air break motor starter meets the need for high reliability in both designed suitable for industrial and agricultural applications. They are designed for DOL switching of A/C motors up to 10 HP (7.5 kw) at 415V, 3 phase and offer comprehensive motor protection against overload, single phasing and unbalanced voltage in accordance with IS: 13947 Part 4 Sec 1993

These Starters, have deep drawn sheet steel enclosure suitably treated for tropical conditions, are provided with dust excluding gasket. The push buttons are sturdy and robust. The starter can be mounted with easily removable front cover. For wiring the starter assembly can be easily brought out by loosening screws of lower base plate. Knock out rubber knobs are provided for cable entries at convenient positions.

Moving contacts are of double break system for positive interruptions of circuit.

A vacuum impregnated coil and silver cadmium oxide contacts contribute to long mechanical and electrical life 5x10⁶ mechanical operations 0.25x10⁶ electrical operation at 415V.
